John and Judy, We are so blessed to have gotten to know you while living in Sterling. We will always remember our trip together to Israel. It was a step (and maybe a leap) of faith for all of us to go, but what a blessing it turned out to be. We are so happy that God has allowed you to have 60 years together. We pray that you will have many more.

Wishing a Happy 60th Anniversary to Uncle John and Aunt Judy. You've been part of my earliest memories and I remember so many good times - holidays, family time and time on the farm & yearly 4th of July celebrations. John taught me how to drive and Judy taught me how to cook massive quantities of food for farm hands. I've still not yet mastered the art of chocolate chip cookies as good at Aunt Judy's. I wish you guys all the best as you celebrate this milestone. Love you both!!

Grandma and Grandpa, congratulations on 60 years of marriage together! Not many couples can say that. As I reflect on my memories of you all, I am blown away by the consistency that marked each of your lives and your marriage. I could always count on Grandpa to teach me something new or get me to think outside the box when helping him with harvest or things around the farm. Despite working on a farm and having no presence on social media, I never remember a time when I had a conversation with Grandpa about a current event or some new technology that I had read about and him not knowing what I was referring to. He always seemed to be up-to-date with everything! I remember Grandma always making cookies for us whenever we were spending the day at the farm, especially when Nathan and I were tired and hungry from building forts in the tree row or assembling hot-wheels tracks down in the basement. Nathan and I could always count on Grandma to have the shelves under the island stocked with powerades for us (a luxury I didn't back at home.) Most of all, I remember both of you being at almost every one of my sporting events in high school. I could always count on you to be there in support of me and to snag a picture afterwards even though I was drenched in sweat. Even after high school when I transitioned into life at college and sports were no longer a part of my life, you all continued to find ways to support me as I began to find my faith and pursue a relationship with Jesus Christ, which you both modeled so well for all of us. I am grateful to have such loving, supportive, and consistent grandparents, and I will never forget the memories and lessons learned at the farm or wherever I was with you all. Thank you for modeling what a Godly marriage looks like, and congrats again on 60 years together. I love you both. -Dillon

Happy Anniversary John and Judy and many more. I feel very blessed to have been befriended through much of my life by your family. I have great memories of sharing a childhood with your son Shawn on your farm. I've enjoyed many meals in your home (big fan of Judy's peanut butter balls). And I was honored to work along side John on your farm in the fall of 1988 and also to inform him that his wristwatch chimed every hour, much to his surprise. ๐Ÿ˜‰ God bless and thank you for allow me to drop in every now and then on your amazing family's journey.

Judy and John, We are so blessed to have you as friends. I remember the fun times we had traveling to our sonโ€™s AAU track and field meets during the summer and you always being so kind to our daughters. Weโ€™ve shared our love of the Jayhawks as our kids walked the hill at KU. You and your family have been so supportive of our community, including your involvement in church, school, agriculture, livestock, and school boards. Ski trips at spring break to so many sports events are wonderful memories. Did I mention fundraising? You always graciously donated when people asked, โ€œWhereโ€™s the Beef?โ€ Thank you for all you have done for our community! Happy Anniversary wishes to a very special couple! Kathy and Bob

Congratulations to one of the sweetest couples ever! You both meant so much to my parents. They entrusted you with working my mom and her siblings farm for so many years. When it came time to sell, we were so excited that it would be in such capable hands for the future. When Becky, Andrew, Molly and I moved back to Sterling in 1995, you greeted us with open arms and made Becky and the kids feel instantly as part of not only the Sterling community but the First United Methodist Church. God bless you and your entire family!
